I’ve always been fascinated by why people click, buy, or connect — the psychology behind what makes one brand magnetic while another gets overlooked. That curiosity led me to earn my Bachelor’s in Marketing from Arkansas Tech University (2004) and my MBA from the University of Central Arkansas (2005).
I began my career helping small business owners grow, but by 2016 I officially opened Sherrod Marketing — and quickly discovered something that changed everything: All the ads and social posts in the world can’t fix a website that doesn’t convert.
When I built my first SEO-powered website and watched it climb to the top of Google organically, I was hooked. Seeing real customers find a local business online — without paying for ads — and walk through their doors made the impact unmistakable.
That moment shifted my focus from “marketing everywhere” to building strategic websites that help local businesses grow right where they are. Based in Little Rock, Arkansas, I work with business owners across the country who want a website that doesn’t just look good — but actually works.
